Was performed at NYU’s The Schubert Theatre and The Hudson Guild. It was also selected by PBS for a short docu film featuring Lucas Bouk who played Jasper Juarez, Natalie Choo as Clara Calvino, and Brittany Fowler as Rose Marigold.

Program Notes

A poignant and intimate opera exploring the complexities of growing older, identity, and the power of human connection. Three characters navigate the challenges of aging, confronting their fears, vulnerabilities, and the importance of embracing life. Through their journey, we are reminded of the strength and beauty that can be found in the later stages of life.

Synopsis:

This 15-minute opera follows Jasper, Clara, and Rose, three individuals in their mid-to-late 60s living in the Hudson Guild apartment building in Chelsea, NY. As they confront their own struggles with aging, they find solace in their friendship and the power of human connection.
